GrowlCamino is an InputManager plugin that provides notifcation support via Growl.

GrowlCamino provides notifications for the following events:
- Download completed
- Open file when ‘completed’ notification is clicked (especially nice with Camino pref Close Downloads Window when download finishes).
- Download failed
- Open downloads window when ‘failed’ notification is clicked
- Download started (disabled by default)
- Notify when bookmark import finishes (disabled by default)
- Notify when bookmark export finishes (disabled by default)
- Notify when page failed to load (disabled by default)
- Notify when popup is blocked (disabled by default)
- Notify when page loads in a background tab (disabled by default)
It’s preference pane offers the following options:
- Suppress the Camino Downloads window, so it doesn’t pop up when downloads
begin. (It will still pop up if you open it from the menu.)
- Turn off Camino’s yellow ‘Popup blocked’ bar (developer versions only)
Requires Growl. For Mac OS X 10.4+ only. Users on Mac OS X 10.3 can use version 0.98, which is incompatible with GrowlMail and some PyObjC programs.
New in 1.6
- Fix compatibility with garbage-collected applications and GrowlSafari
If you’re using Camino 2.0 nightlies
- Try GrowlCamino 1.71beta.
- This version corrects some problems with duplicate notifications and switches off Camino’s rather limited built-in Growl support.
