A simple Automator application, based on AppleScript, that passes-off the RSS feeds from Camino to Google Reader, once set as the default Feed Viewer.
To Install
- Install this Automator application in your Application folder
- Open Camino, go on Camino>Preferences>General>Default Feed Viewer and choose RSS2GR
- In Camino, when the RSS feed icon shows in the address bar – click on it and choose “Subscribe to” – you will be redirect to your Google Reader page for login
- click on the “Add subscription” link and ⌘v (paste) in the link that has been automatically saved by this script
To open Google Reader in a new tab – set the following in Camino > Preferences
Preference > Tabs:
Open tabs instead of windows for:
Tick Checkbox: Links opened by other applications
